Sheraton Batumi Hotel opened in 2010 is the first international 5 star branded hotel in Adjara region.

Sheraton Batumi Hotel as the first international 5 star branded hotel in Adjara region introduced traditional Sheraton service excellence and soon became a symbol of hospitality and luxury. It was projected and constructed according to the conception of Lighthouse of Alexandria. Beside the visual resemblance Sheraton Batumi Hotel just like the Lighthouse of Alexandria is a “Shining White Star” which attracts tourists into Adjara and plays a significant role in development and improvement of region’s tourism industry.

Sheraton Batumi Hotel is pleased to announce an opening for the position of Front Office Receptionist.

Position summary:

Process all guest check-ins, payments and check-outs. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards. Anticipate and address guests’ service needs and thank with genuine appreciation.

 

Duties & responsibilities:

  • Welcome and acknowledge each and every guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly verbal greeting, using the guest's name when possible;
  • Address guests' service needs in a professional, positive, and timely manner;
  • Actively listen and respond positively to guest questions, concerns, and requests using brand or property specific process;
  • Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations in computer system (e.g., Fidelio, PMS, FOSSE, OPERA), verifying guest identity, requesting form of payment, assigning room, and issuing room key in accordance with property policies and procedures;
  • Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit;
  • Process all check-outs, resolving any late and disputed charges, settling account, retrieving room key, and requesting comments on guest's stay;
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in and to report guest concerns;
  • Run daily reports, identify any special requests, and check reports for accuracy;
  • Supply guests/residents with directions and information regarding property amenities, services, and hours of operation, and local areas of interest and activities;
  • Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards;
  • Follow up with guests to ensure their requests or problems have been met to their satisfaction;
  • Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect;
  • Follow company and department safety and security policies and procedures to ensure a clean, safe, and secure environment.

 

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Work experience as a receptionist will be considered as a plus;
  • English Language Proficiency;
  • Customer Service Oriented with an excellent communication skill;
  • Patient Listener;
  • Ability to multitask and stay flexible;
  • Ready to go beyond in everything.
