Hotels & Preference Hualing Tbilisi  announcing an opening for the position of: Recreation Centre Supervisor.  


Main Responsibilities: 

Recreation Centre Supervisor is responsible for the overall supervision of the program areas which includes supervising specific programs, the facility, and entry staff with managing the daily operations of the Recreation Center.   

This position requires critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently. Supervisor should be sound in conflict resolution and management, be a self-starter, and work well under pressure. Supervisor must work constructively and collaborate with other program areas. Supervisor is expected to maintain an awareness of potential problems while creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere in their particular program area. 

  • Supervision and managing the daily operations of the Recreation Center (RC; 
  • Assist RC Manager in organizational, managerial and administrational issues; 
  • Ability to substitute Instructor upon the department requirements; 
  • Prepare reports regarding daily problems, suggestions, or equipment issues for the RC Manager; 
  • Inform RC manager about customer requests and complaints; 
  • Assist RC Manager to view staff efficiency; 
  • Assist RC Manager in staff recruitment, staff training and their supervision; 
  • Execute pre-opening and post opening periodical Orientations for Recreational Staff; 
  • Execute special and planned pre-opening and post opening Orientations for Trainers Staff to educate them of proper and safe exercise forms/techniques. Orientations should include: usage of gym & aerobics equipment, treating of swimming pool zone by means of cleaning tools, understanding and knowledge of different types and trends of exercising programs and skills on correct planning of the fitness programs etc.)  
  • Supervise RC Staff and inform RC Manager on necessity of corrective measures for trainers staff skill improvement; 
  • Supervising staff with setting up the Staff Working Schedules.  
  • Daily preparation of WOD for Trainers and Recreation Members. 
  • Enhancing profitability by organizing and delivering an appropriate range of fitness activities/programs; 
  • Design and promote activities that meet customer demand and generate revenue; 
  • Enforce Recreation Centre center Policies and Procedures. Operate according to internal regulations. 
  • Perform everyday checking on the cleanliness and order of all areas such as Gym, Pool, Lockers and etc. of the facilities; 
  • Supervising and managing the cleaning and maintain equipment of the center.  
  • Cashing-up and keeping stock records; 
  • Expected to resolve issues, accidents and incidents. 
  • The checkout & set-up of various equipment   
  • Maintain high standard of service to customers. Handle complaints, as necessary;  
  • Provide tours of the recreational facilities to new and potential members 
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with strong computer skills 


Main requirements: 

  • Higher Education; 
  • Work Experience as a Recreation Center/Fitness/Health Club  is mandatory; 
  • Should  physically fit and should possess sound Customer Service;  
  • Fluent in  English – is mandatory; 
  • High Sense of responsibility; 
  • Able to be an efficient team-leader; 
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills; 
  • First Aid Training Certificate – will be an advantage.
