We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and professional to join our team as the Executive Chef at Hotel and Preference Hualing Tbilisi. 
This key position is the strategic and creative leader of the hotel’s culinary operations, overseeing all aspects of food production, kitchen management, and culinary innovation across multiple outlets, including Western, Chinese, and Banqueting kitchens. This role ensures excellence in cuisine, operational efficiency, team development, and guest satisfaction in line with 5-star international standards. 
 
Main Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Strategic Culinary Leadership 
  • Direct and oversee the operations of all hotel kitchens, ensuring culinary excellence, innovation, and consistency. 
  • Design and implement diverse, high-quality menus that reflect seasonal availability, market trends, and guest preferences across multiple cuisines. 
  • Collaborate with senior hotel leadership on food-related strategies and contribute to the overall vision of the property. 

Operational Management 
  • Establish and maintain the highest standards of food quality, safety, hygiene, and sanitation across all kitchen areas in compliance with HACCP and local regulations. 
  • Coordinate kitchen operations with service, banquet, and event planning teams to ensure smooth execution of all dining experiences. 
  • Monitor and control kitchen expenditures including labor, food cost, equipment, and supply usage to meet or exceed budget expectations. 
  • Leadership & Team Development 
  • Lead and inspire a diverse culinary team, including Head Chefs of specialty kitchens (Western, Chinese, Banqueting), sous chefs, and line cooks. 
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff, creating a high-performance culture and succession planning for future leaders. 
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, training sessions, and staff meetings to maintain morale and drive continuous improvement. 
  • Guest Experience & Brand Standards 
  • Ensure all culinary offerings align with the brand’s luxury positioning and exceed guest expectations. 
  • Personally oversee VIP and high-profile guest functions, providing tailored culinary experiences. 
  • Address guest feedback and complaints related to food quality or service promptly and professionally. 
 
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: 
  • Minimum of 12 years of progressive culinary experience, with at least 3 years in an Executive Chef position at a 5-star international hotel. 
  • Expertise in managing multi-outlet kitchens, including all day dining, Chinese cuisine, and large-scale banqueting. 
  • Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management from a recognized institution. 
  • In-depth knowledge of international culinary trends, nutrition, sustainability, and food presentation. 
  • Strong financial acumen in budgeting, cost control, and profitability analysis. 
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and cross-cultural communication skills. 
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages such as Mandarin or French are advantageous.
