We are pleased to announce an opening for the position of F&B Manager
Duty Station: Tbilisi, Georgia. Type of Appointment: Full-time. Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervises the functioning of all Food and Beverage employees, facilities, sales, and costs, to ensure maximum departmental profit is achieved.
Controls and analyses, on an ongoing basis, to optimize the following: Quality levels of product and service, Guest satisfaction, Operating costs, Sanitation and cleanliness (hygiene).
Coordinates and supervises the preparation, presentation, and service of food products to ensure the highest quality at all times.
Establishes and maintains effective employee relations.
With the guidance of HR, conducts such functions as interviewing, hiring, employee orientation, performance appraisal, and coaching.
Develops and implements formal training plans for Food and Beverage Department personnel.
Supervises and coordinates pricing and preparation of menus, beverage and wine lists by taking into consideration such factors as: local requirements, market needs, competition, trends, recipes, potential costs, availability of Food and Beverage products.
Conducts weekly Food and Beverage meetings.
Implements a daily, weekly, and monthly checklist for all Food and Beverage departments. Ensures proper follow-up to attain maximum quality and efficiency.
Prepares the Food and Beverage Department budget.
Keeps aware of trends, systems, practices, and equipment in Food and Beverage preparation and service in the hotel and restaurant field.
Requirement:
Minimum 2 years of proven work experience as a Food and Beverage Manager or in a similar role
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and develop staff
Proficient in cost control and financial planning
High level of communication and interpersonal skills to maintain a positive work environment and guest satisfaction
Knowledge of the English language
