Position Summary
The Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel’s F&B operations, including restaurants, bars, banqueting and in-room dining. This role ensures the delivery of exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence and financial performance in line with Hotel Glarros Old Town’s standards. The F&B Manager leads, trains and motivates the team while maintaining high standards of service, quality, hygiene and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Direct and manage daily operations of all F&B outlets (restaurants, bar, banqueting and room service).
- Ensure smooth coordination between kitchen, service and other departments.
- Monitor dining areas to ensure guest satisfaction and immediate resolution of complaints.
- Develop, implement, and monitor annual F&B budgets, forecasts and cost control measures.
- Maximize revenue opportunities through menu engineering, promotions and upselling strategies.
- Analyze monthly performance reports (P&L, revenue, costs, inventories) and initiate corrective actions.
- Control food, beverage and labor costs in line with budgetary goals.
- Recruit, train, coach and develop F&B team members at all levels.
- Foster a culture of professionalism, teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Set departmental goals and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, health & safety and hotel policies.
- Uphold and enhance service standards, ensuring personalized guest experiences.
- Oversee implementation of guest feedback systems (surveys, reviews, mystery audits).
- Introduce innovative F&B concepts, seasonal menu and special events to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Ensure strict adherence to hygiene, sanitation and safety standards across all F&B operations.
- Comply with HACCP, local regulations and international hospitality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of dining areas, kitchens and storage facilities.
- Work closely with managing partner and the stakeholder on hotel-wide strategies and brand development.
- Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to develop promotional campaigns and partnerships.
- Support hotel events, banquets, and conferences with high-level planning and execution.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive F&B management experience, preferably in a 4–5-star hotel.
- Strong knowledge of F&B trends, menu design, cost control and operational systems.
- Proven track record in budget management, P&L analysis and achieving financial targets.
- Experience in staff training, leadership and team development.
- Excellent command of Georgian and English (both written and spoken).
- Leadership with a hands-on, guest-oriented approach.
- Strong business acumen and financial awareness.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of POS systems, MS Office and hotel management software.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Guest satisfaction and review scores.
- Achievement of departmental financial targets (revenue growth, cost control, profitability).
- Employee engagement, retention and performance levels.
- Compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
